Claudia Clark
A self-taught artist, Claudia immersed herself in traditional watercolor after retiring from a career as a computer professional. Recently, she discovered digital painting - a combination of art and science that is a good fit.
Jill McLean
Jill McLean is an artist from Pittsfield. After earning a degree in Interior Design at Endicott College, she returned to Berkshire County in 2008 and soon shifted her career back to art. Working full time as an Art Director with local company Lymphedivas since 2011, she does illustration, surface pattern design, and product photography by day and develops her own work as an artist on the side.
Scott Henderson
My interest in art began in high school and has since guided much of my creative journey, including a career in architecture. Drawing has long been a tool for me, one that helps me understand, explore, and communicate ideas. While living in Italy from 2004 to 2008, I became more intentional about using art as a means to capture the beauty, complexity, and emotion of my surroundings.
Katherine Haig
Raised in the Berkshires, and inspired by local art and nature, Katherine is a self taught artist, and local community organizer.
Aiden White
Aidan White was born in Princeton, NJ and moved to the Berkshires when he was 8. He has always enjoyed visiting museums -- Princeton University Art Museum, The Clark, MASS MoCA, and the Rockwell.
Mark Morgenstein
Recently devoting full time to watercolors... Successful show February/March at The Starving Artist's Good Purpose Gallery and honorable mention at The Guild Berkshire Artists, Art on Main Gallery recent juried show.
Judy McNutt
Judy lives in Pittsfield, and is driven by a love of all the arts. She is an actress, singer, playwright, Director, seamstress, acrylic painter, & also does: watercolors, mixed media/collage/recycling, printmaking, photography, & jewelry making.
Robert Markey
Robert Markey is an artist who has worked in many media over the years including painting, sculpture, installation, video and mosaics. He has done public art projects in cities around the country including New York, Boston, Philadelphia, Houston and Minneapolis. His first video was aired on PBS, and he received national media coverage for his public performance work on domestic violence. He has done mosaic murals in Brazil, Chile, Mexico, Cambodia, Sri Lanka, Israel, India, Afghanistan and the U.S. to do mosaic murals with youth in vulnerable situations. He has done painted murals with refugees in the U.S. and Greece, and with tribal painters in India.
His sculptures have been featured in various locations around the country, including The Norman Rockwell Museum and Chesterwood in Stockbridge MA, 3 Sisters Sanctuary in Goshen MA, and Sculpture Fest in Woodstock VT.
Nina Lipkowitz
Nina Lipkowitz was born and spent most of her adult life in New York City, where she received her degree in art history and later studied almost everything offered at the Art Students League. She has been a sculptor, a potter, a painter, and a yoga teacher.
Nicole Irene
Curious and determined Nicole’ recent work is a quest through life about life itself; bridging the visual link between microcosm and macrocosm.
Susan Himmel
Susan Himmel is a watercolorist and mixed-media painter who has been creating art in one form or another all her life. Himmel's original focus was on three-dimensional art, primarily pottery, jewelry, and wall hangings until 2006.
Margo Serena
Margo is a Berkshire native and life long artist who works with many different media in creating her art. Often using mixed media and elements of nature in her creations, she gravitates towards collage and watercolor, which are her favorite forms of expression.
Michael Coyne
Michael Coyne is a retired emergency physician whose artistic pursuits are inspired by mountain biking, hiking, travel, music and nature. He specializes in watercolor and ink paintings, upcycled metalwork sculptures, and pottery.
Natalia Bystrianyk
Natalia is best known for her powerful use of color in deeply layered intuitive paintings which bubble up from years of life experience. Her instinct of where to go with it and when to stop is informed by her spirituality - a regular practice of mindfulness, yoga, and meditation.
Marguerite Bride
Marguerite Bride is a watercolorist who has lived in the Berkshires since 1995. She has painted over 150 "local scenes" plus over 125 custom house portraits. Besides painting, Bride also teaches watercolor techniques to small groups of adults in her home studio.
Katherine Borkowski-Byrne
Katherine studied painting at the Boston School of the Museum of Fine Arts. She maintains that painting is its own language that speaks from within. She has exhibited in numerous solo and group shows and has been recognized with awards and reviews.
Susan Robinson
Susan is a graphic designer, illustrator, and fine artist living in the hills of Peru, MA. Her work is inspired by interesting things that just happen to stand out to her during a day - patterns & textures, stories, quirky people or animals, and of course, her children.
Jesse Tobin McCauley
Jesse Tobin McCauley is a painter and graphic designer working in the Berkshires. Her paintings are acrylic on canvas — bursts of bold, bright, saturated color — that evoke a feeling of happiness through the flood of interacting abstract color, finding the beauty in the chaos of color and shape.
