Mourning Mary Rentz

The officers and the board of the Berkshire Art Association join our BAA members and the Berkshire community in mourning the loss of Mary Rentz.

Mary has been a leader, friend and mentor. We are grateful for her presence in our lives, her tireless work for the BAA, and her vision, humor, talent and grace. She has touched so many lives.

Earlier this spring, the BAA Board of Directors created a BAA College Fellowship Award in Mary’s name. It is a recognition of the hard work and devotion Mary Rentz put into sustaining our annual College Fellowship Show, a juried exhibit open to art majors in Berkshire colleges and Berkshire natives majoring in art who are enrolled in colleges beyond the Berkshires.

The BAA Board of Directors wish to express our sympathy to her family and to her many friends.
