Michael Kusek is both an artist and STEAM enthusiast! Mr Kusek has been working as an engineer in Pittsfield for nearly 20 years, originally holding degrees in computer science and math. More recently, Michael decided to pursue his childhood interest and returned to college to earn a studio art degree. Mr Kusek is colorblind and primarily works with charcoal but has also branched into acrylic painting using restricted palettes. With his mixed background Mr Kusek is very good at website design and digital mediums but still prefers charcoal on paper as his favorite medium with people and animals as his favorite subjects.
