Melissa Scheid Frantz
Melissa Scheid Frantz is an abstract realism artist based in Western Massachusetts. While living in Brattleboro, Vermont, she received guidance and mentorship through painting classes at the River Gallery School of Art. It was there that she expanded her color palette, pushed her creative boundaries, and discovered the unique technique of painting with her fingers (using gloves, of course!). Since then, Melissa has continued to create exclusively with her fingers, both in oil painting and digital painting. Her tactile approach captures the intimate interactions and conversations between colors, and her work has been exhibited locally and regionally. Melissa’s art is also included in private collections.
