Brent Ridge is a Berkshires-based artist whose work delves into themes of industrial decay, natural beauty, and human resilience. With an MFA from the Glasgow School of Art and a decade of the vibrant art scenes of Brooklyn, NY and Boston, MA, Ridge brings a unique perspective to his art- local, global, rustic and urban. He is currently the art teacher at Reid Middle School in Pittsfield, where he inspires young artists. Rooted in the industrial landscape of his hometown, Flint, Michigan, Ridge’s work often reflects themes of resilience and transformation. His pieces, characterized by a blend of contemporary techniques and found materials, have been exhibited in numerous galleries in the USA and abroad.
