The Pittsfield Art Show and PAS Invitational will not be held in 2012.

The Berkshire Art Association and our Pittsfield Art Show partners – Downtown Inc and the City of Pittsfield's Cultural Development Office and Artscape Committee – have decided to suspend the Pittsfield Art Show for the near term.

The Berkshire Art Association as an organization is taking a fresh look at how it support the arts in our community. Our BAA Fellowship program for Berkshire college art students will continue to be a primary focus.

As the City continues to develop new avenues for local and regional artists in Pittsfield, the BAA is working with the arts and business communities to provide more sustained opportunities for the public to engage with artists and their work. Look for more art exhibits throughout the downtown in 2012 and more special events around art. We are in the planning stages and welcome any artists and art enthusiasts who would like to join us and keep the momentum going.
